Any thoughts on Fortuna 3lt DVD

Post by GI Jane »

My youngest son and I test drove a new 3lt D4D on sat the 4x2 Ltd edition, and is very keen on getting it. Does anyone have any feedback on the vehicle. My eldest son has the older version and he is very happy with his. My youngest son was thinking about a Landrover initially, think it was a Disco or something, and I told him he would have to park it down the road and walk the rest of the way when he came to visit me. :mocking: :mocking: :mocking: By the end of the evening and with the seriously pro Toyota crowd at my place he decided to go and test drive the Fortuner, and he thought it was a great vehicle. Hope we did'nt give him bad advice. Any feedback on the vehicle welcome....

At least he should go and drive the LR!

A 4x4 is merely a machine that enables you to get stuck further away from civilization.

Also test the 2.5.It has the same torque as the 3 liter only the kw different. 108 vs 120.You get better fuel consumption on the 2.5 and about 80k price diffrence

Did suggest he looked at it, but he fell in love with the Ltd edition and all the stuff it has, and he picks it up on Friday... It really is an awesome vehicle, went with him for the test drive...I obviously prefer the 4x4 but its not his scene...., now my 4x4 trailer will spend less time in my garage and more time connected to his Fortuna, he's already prepared me/ or is that primed me :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: ...
