Toyota recall!

Does anyone know which year models of Fortuner they are referring to when they refer to the spiral cable that must deploy the driver airbag? More importantly, for those of us who have had it break (and I think there are a few) will Toyota reimburse us the R2 000 + labour that it cost to have it fixed?

Daai issie 'n fout nie, dis 'n banana conversion vir centre ground clearance (Break-over angle).
