Hilux 1998 SFA difflock

Hi Manne

Ek het die gearmax difflock op my bakkie. Die ding wou toe glad nie release nie...ek het toe die vacuum pypie wat na die diff gaan uitgetrek en walla daar los dit.

Die fout le baie duidelik by die klein solenoid valvie wat die vacuum deur switch na die diff to om die locker in te trek.

Toyota noem dit: Rear diff solenoid valve. Buiten by Toyota (R600 :!: :thumbdown: ) weet iemand dalk waar ek dit in die hande kan kry?

Ek sukkel my vrek :frustrated: ...ek gaan koop dit sommer!! :mrgreen:

Ek verbeel my ek het erens op die forum raakgelees dat as jou diff breather geblok is release hy nie.. Check eers gou daai uit voordat jy klomp geld uitgee, Charl.. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Gearmax is 'n "local" besigheid - Ek dink hulle is iewers in Johannesburg. Gaan dit nie goedkoper wees om direk met hulle te werk nie?

As dit die geval is sal hy ook nie 'release' as jy die vacuum pypie af haal want die lugdruk binne die diff druk nog op die diaphragm.

Nee, in die geval is Charl reg, die vacuum solenoid lek en moet vervang word. ;-)

Dankie ek het toe Gearmax gebel...hulle verkoop die solenoid vir R300.

Maar dit was toe nooit die solenoid gewees, dit was die spring binne die diff wat uitgehaak het...m.a.w. die diff het gesluit en gelos wanneer dit wil. Dit was maar net toevallig dat elke keer as ek die kar start dan is die diff oop en later sluit die diff outomaties....wat jou laat dink dis die solenoid maar dit was toe nou nie, ne! :dance1:
