Redelik ,net een ding ,hy val nie in nie jy moet hom in sit.Harnas computer ens Prado 4x4 box.
Beter as die vorige 6cyl cresida engine wat in was.Ek sal bietjie uitvind oor sy brandstof verbruik.Performance is iets ongelooflik.(body is beslis ligter as die van die D4D)

What did you do for the front diff, because I am not aware of one in that ratio to fit.

2 X D4D rear diff centre portions fit 100% in the old imported diffs with little bit of modifing on the diff casing.

Stephan, you mentioned you had a straight six in before. Did you have the 7mge and why did you go diesel?

Keep in mind this is not mine it's Tokkies the 7mge was an excel convertion,if you get fuel for free I'll put it in mine. The problem is that once you install it with free flow and all its goodies YOU ALWAYS WANT TO DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!..........(Ons is mossie m-*-f-f-i-e-s nie)

With this D4D Tokkies uses it as a farm vehicle, trekker, mamma se kar and a toy vir pa with a fuel cons. of 7.9lt /100km who will not ? He's got a new D4D D/C but hardly drives it now.He says that Toyota should have built the Legend 40 like this Yellow wa ,they would have made money and keep clientel.

I must say driving in this is something unreal a SFA that is capeable of doing over 200kmh if you have the guds ......... very very scary

Sorry for the spelling ek's mos maar engels gestrem.

So you reckon it has more power and speed with the D4D than the 7m. Next time round I might have to look into this. Your english is better than my afrikaans, I can like to speak afrikaans very deliciously.

Manos,

This is very old thread, It has been a while since Buffel has been on the forum.
I will try and answer as much as possible, as I've seen this pick-up a few times in town.

Not sure if was a diesel or petrol in its earlier life, but I'm sure that it would fit in your truck.

Waar is jou valley?
