Man Louis ek kan voel hyt bietjie meer torque op die staduim,hys so bietjie lui op die staduim en n bietjie te ryk gestel,maar as ek weg trek kan ek n verskil voel,ek kani wag dat hy moet gedyno word nie,wil kyk of dit die moeite werd was.Dankie vir jou tyd en jou hulp,ekt my pa se ou donaldson filter geruil vir n Gwm sin,so ek het nie op die staduim daai bends nodig nie,sal in die toekoms my ou airfilter trug sit.

Stefan, just for the fun of it, we did some pretty extensive road tuning on my 4Y EFi before the dyno... when I sent it in for a dyno I asked for a before and after run, just to see if the dyno really is worth it, before reading was 84kw, after was 93kw... and the engine is much smoother...
Bottom line dyno'ing, by someone that knows his stuff, is well worth it!

Mr B ek wti hoe om daai fuel en timing maps te stel nie,die naaste dyno is in Kimberley so 240km van Kuruman af en ek kan dit nie bekostig om Pretoria toe te ry nie,so Kimberley is my enigste opsie nou.

Gunta ekt maar eers my bakkie geparkeer,sy valve lifters het erg begin raas,petrol en olie meng nou raak die olie te dun oor hy te reach loop.

Thats bad there must be a crap load of petrol being injected to do that. Normally it would bellow out black smoke and the smell of the exhaust will burn your eyes but I have never heard of the petrol going into the oil unless there is a leak somewhere and the petrol is leaking through the injectors with the engine off.

AS hy staan en idle dan gee hy n wit rook wat sterk ryk na petrol,toe ek hom die eertse keer start in die garage was daar nie genoeg deure en vensters vir die gasse nie,hoe meer vet ek gee hoe meer sruit die injectors,en onthou net dis n startup map wat nou gelaai is.Agwat hy moet staan tot hy gedyno word.

Is you timing as jy idle op 20 grade? Ook wat jy kan doen is om op die Fuel Maps screen die mm af te stel oor die hele screen. Soos byvoorbeeld as dit erens lees 2.950 af na 2.220. Kan wees op die oomblik dat die engin overfuel.

My pa het dinsdag n Advanch timing light gekoop en ons het om op idle op 20 grade gestel,hoe stel mens die fuel map se mm af oor die hele screen? Jy kani dalk vir my n map stuur wat leaner is nie? Ek verstaan nie die fuel en timing maps so lekker nie,al wat ek gestel het op jou map wat jy gestuur het is die rev limiter.

Die timing is op die pulley 20 grade, stem dit oor een soos op die dicktator ignition map? Lees dit ook 20 grade?
Dan die fuel maps, onthou die Map is vir 'n 2.2lt(4Y), al wat ek dink is om die fuel maps dan met omtrent 10 % te verminder.
O ja, net seker te maak, het jy al 'n druktoets gedoen om te kyk wat is die petrol druk van die fuel pomp, gewoonlik is 2.6-3 bar ok. As dit meer is is die fuel regulator nie reg.
Anders bel my as jy die bakkie laat idle en die rekenaar gekoppel het een of ander tyd, dan sal ek jou se wat waar gaan.
Dis maar op die een trail en error.

Eks nie seker oor die timing op die map nie,sal weer die kabel by die ou gaan leen en kyk.
Ekt nie n druk toets gedoen nie,om eerlik te wees ek het nie die tools davoor nie.
En ek sal eers die olie moet aftap en nuwes ingooi.

Louis se my gou,die petrol wat van die Hp pomp af kom,moet dit eers deur die regulator gaan en dan in na die fuel rail toe? Ek het hom nou tans gekoppel dat die petrol van die Hp pomp eers fuel rail toe gaan en dan deur regulator na die return toe,is dit reg of verkeerd,met anderwoorde daar is klaar 4 bar op die injectors?

Het hom toe omgedraai maar hy start nie en mens kan hoor die pomp pomp baie swaar,ekt Graig se 1 map opgelaai exhaust gasse ryk nie meer so sterk nie soos hy was met jou map nie,kort net geld vir dyno dan sal al my probleempies op n einde wees.Ek moet se tenminste loop hy Louis en dit vir my eerste keer.

I have 2 regulators. One incoming on the rail closest to the firewall and one on the return closest to the radiator. It must go through the regulator first.

Net so ligte update,nog nie gedyno,Kimberley se dyno werk eers weer volgende jaar weer,start probleem uitgesort,hyt nie genoeg krag op ecu gekry nie,laptop het 10... iets volts gewys as hy crank,toe sit ek n relay op die ecu se ignition draad en nou start hy maklik,cold starting nog so klein probleempie maar nie ernstig nie. Het n Vw kombie se Icv gekry wat ek nog gaan insit want Gwm se plastiek Bosch Icv is nie baie goed nie. Verder loop hy lekker.
