ln 105 shocks dimmentions

Post by kritsotis13 »

Hi
does anybody knows the dimmentions off the factory shocks for the LN105 sfa diesel front and back?

I want to replace them with longer ones for better articulation.

Do you also know how longer can I install without changing anything else and have no problem?

The S/N of the car is:

JT131LNA409051975

Thank you

Be careful not to fit a shock that is too long otherwise it will bottom out before the suspension. That just needs to happen once and the shock will be totally ruined. The shock must also arrest the outward travel before the shackles are fully extended, otherwise they can invert which can also cause damage. Fitting extended shackles or revolver shackles can overcome this and allow for more outward travel, but you will still have the bottoming out issue unless you alter the bump-stops.

that is why I am trying to find out the dimmentions because I can not take them off the car myself.

I have the manuals but it is not there.
