Hi There,
Can anyone tell me what the purpose of the small filter is that are on the carberator. The toyota dealers are clueless of it and I urgently need to replace it.

Why do you want to replace it ..... It's either a reed valve or jet to regulate vacuum. AFAIK they never need replacement.
