1986 2.2 4Y carberator

Hi There,

Can anyone tell me what the purpose of the small filter is that are on the carberator. The toyota dealers are clueless of it and I urgently need to replace it.

Why do you want to replace it ..... It's either a reed valve or jet to regulate vacuum. AFAIK they never need replacement. :think:
