Shot Diff

Post by Willied »

Okay, so after the EFI was done I did not get much chance to run the 4Y.. Yesterday I get a call saying it had gone in for the new exhaust after I had the intake manifolds powder coated and now the rear diff is shot.. :blackeye:

So I quickly phoned Gearmax in Bloem, R4500 for the 4.55 and R5500 for the 4.15.. Will have to follow up with my shop as to what ratios are in the vehicle. The guys at Gearmax are willing to build a difflock for me as this is an import and replacing the rear axle will be way to expensive just to have a locker..

What should I do.. See what is broken and try and source parts and then consider having them build a locker or just replace the she-bang once off? Where can I source the parts.. :beg:

Het toe wel 'n 4.88 ratio in.. Pinion gear se tande gebreek. Vervang en sal volgende week weer mooi loop vir die jag aksie.
