fitted a boost gauge to my hilux

Post by Vlak vark »

So on the way to the sea it some times felt like there is a power loss on my lux. i checked all the piping and found nothing wrong. on the way back it was fine even with the diff problem. So i decided to fit a boost gauge to my lux. found that the boost only came to about 0.5 bar at around 3500 rpm. found that the water cooling that bolts onto the manifold were loose. fixed it and locktite the bolts. after that all is smooth sailing. Jumps to 0.8 bar after 2500 rpm.
