I looked into my SFA workshop manual and they give the following reasons for abnormal wear on outside of tread.
1)Excessive speed when cornering:Revise driving habits
2)Bent axle housing:Check and straighten or renew axle housing
3)Incorrect front end alignment:Check front end alignment and adjust as neccesary

Lift up the vehicle an wiggel the wheel with your hands, if its feels loose its your wheel bearings that must be tightened. A SFA wheel alignment rarely go out. I also went to many wheel alignment sessions before realizing my wheel bearings were loose

And some advice that worked for me was to rotate the tyres like cross ply tires.. i.e. front left to rear right, etc.

Check for 'loose' wheel bearings as suggested and then set up the alignment with between ½° and 1° toe-in. A bent banjo housing would have to be fairly badly bent to create uneven wear and would in all likelihood also chew the shaft bearings and seals ..... one side would also tend to wear more than the other. In this respect I would ask if the vehicle has been in an accident, have you connected a rock or curb very hard? When you look at your vehicle front on with the steering straight, do the wheels appear to have the same camber? (1½° off either way from 0° vertical is still within spec .... and that's a lot).
Also check the tie-rod ends for excessive wear .... there should be no play. One other possibility is worn pivot cone bearings, but this is a bit less likely.

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
