There's an Aussie company that makes the kits as well .... sure you can buy only the atms if that's what you need.

Not sure it's a good idea to make your own arms, the offset between the end of the arm and the kingpin is critical to the fraction of a mm, it's what controls the "Geometrically correct steering" in turns - (inner arc turns sharper than outer arc).

i only bought the arms alone, at the time it cost me R 2500, but he does a whole kit as well

I think they're going to be pricey wherever you source them, but they are steering components, so one doesn't want to take chances on cheap or back-yard stuff.

What I have in mind is to take a pair of standard OEM arms, cutting off the "J" so that I have two identically shaped arms except for the opposing off-sets. These I would have machined so that they can locate and be fitted upside down on opposing sides to what they were originally meant to be. The tapered holes for the tie-rod end ball-joints I would leave as they are so that the tie-rod sits above the arms and not below as in standard IF the tie-rod doesn't foul against the sump. If it does, then I would have the holes machined to accept those ball-joints from below.

Might be the cheapest option.

No welding, just machining. Structural integrity remains the same.
