SFA rear disc brakes conversion. HELP

Post by LEEBOY »

Hi , just fitted Honda Balade calipers with a 30 mm diameter piston to my SFA and now there are NO back brakes. Tried by- passing the proportioning valve but still very weak. I was back to the scrap yard where there is a A4 caliper with a 37 mm piston or a Jetta 4 caliper with a 40 mm piston. Does anyone who has done this conversion remember the size of the piston in the caliper they used??

I see the Kiwis is using Sabaru or Ford Sierra calipers also to get the handbrake working like normal

Subaru has a disc/drum combo which makes the handbrake easier to setup..
