New Wheel recommendations needed!

Post by okest13 »

I currently have 15inch by 6inch wheels, but am looking for something in 15x7 or 15x8. I don't have much experience/knowledge in Backspace or Offset.

What wheels do you have on your rigs?

(I have yet to do a suspension upgrade, maybe I should do that before changing the wheels?)

Hi Simon,

Welcome to the forum.

For me the 30x9.5R15 (245/75/15) works best. I had a set of BF A/T's on my bakkie.
I recently changed to 31x10.5R15 (265/70/15)Highway tread, and, although people said they are not supposed to catch on full turn lock, mine does.

However, the 31" does look better on the bakkie. I guess a set of 15-20mm wheel spacers will sort out the catching issue.

Hope this helps.

You should be OK with an 8J rim (15"). :winkx:

I had 15x8 rims and 33 inch Maxxis buckshot mud tyres on my LN106. The hub and axle spacing is pretty much identical to the N65, but that was with a 6 inch suspension lift :D: :D: :dance1:
I used to know everything. Now I know nothing
