 Re: Ford V6 EFI conversion
Darryl, I'm well on my way to get my V6 EFi'ed by Rich. He just needs to do George's Sheila next year and then we are going to tackle King Rat It would be nice to know that Bennie might be involved as well and he might be willing to share his know-how Here is the tread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4358

You Frod Guys do realise that the key to building a wicked EFi system lies in persuading this man to "work his magic" in designing and building you an Optical Dizzy As Sooty (from Sooty and Sweep a UK Children's Puppet from the 70's) would say: (waving a little Magic Wand) "Izzy Wizzy, let's get Buzy.......build that Dizzy"

 Re: Ford V6 EFI conversion

Ek wil vir my 'n kit maak vir die dag as ek 'n V6 in my d/c wil insit.

Yes I agree any engine other then a 4Y which has coil in cap, I would suggets if you can afford the extra cost - go solid state (36-1 or 60-2 trigger with wasted spark duel coils or a coil on plug setup. I do not know the frod moutors very well except that it can mostly be fixed with bloudraad and their spares are cheap.

 Re: Ford V6 EFI conversion
Andries I'll see if I get around to taking a few pics this weekend - I work far away from home at the moment. I'm not sure what to measure - you'll need to guide me here, coz I'm not the most proficient mechanic n'oll, and the conversion was done when I bought Brolloks.

 Re: Ford V6 EFI conversion
Oh, btw, I phoned Schalk from Dyno Logic Repairs in Doornpoort yesterday and he recommended that I do a full Dyno tune before I change anything on my V6 setup or move to EFI. He sounds like a great guy and made a lot of sense.
