Opinions on Redback Replacement Bumpers

Post by RobT »

Hi,

I have been looking around for a replacement bumper that I like for my 2004 KZ-TE, and because of the age on the vehicle the options are limited. I have found that redback do a stainless steel 3 ring replacement bumper that looks more the part and matches the other stainless bits of the Legend 35 spec.

Has anyone got a Redback bumper or have any feedback on them?

I know that ARB are airbag approved but they only do the one farmer style bar now days, I believe that Redback is made in the same factory as ARB?

The other question is how much longer does it make the vehicle? If it's too long I might not fit into the garage any more . . .

Thanks in advance.

Rob, if made in Aus, then it has to be airbag compliant by Aussie Law. I have never read anything in any ARB catalogue that they are affiliated in any way to Redback.

I have seen the Redback products and they look sturdy.
