Has any one done this?
I have a 1998 IFS and want to try and convert it to the facelift.
I live at the coast and just bought this vehicle but the rust got the better of it,and that is why i was thinking of the mod.

yep, i was about to buy a hilux for good price when i noticed that exact same thing... 1999 model with legend front. then only the seller confirmed bakkie rolled. No mention of the code 3 in the ad.
