Hi
Is there any negative effect if a gas bottle holder is mounted horizontally?
Regards

Re: Gas bottle holder
Tumelo, there is no problem mounting the holder horizontally, however there is a problem carrying a gas bottle in that holder horizontally
Taken from the CADAC website "The cylinders for instance, should always be stored in the upright position to prevent leakages from occurring at the valves. If the cylinders are not stored in the upright position dangerous gas pockets can form, posing the risk of explosion."

It could give you that little bit of extra thrust you have been looking for and propel you forward a bit faster...wheeeeee just like NOS.

Re: Gas bottle holder
You also stand a chance of the bottle falling out of the holder. I have personally seen one fall out of a horisontal bracket on a trip :!:

Thanx for the response, I thought I'd first ask, eventullually space becomes sooooooo precious and one starts to look at even the smallest/weirdest of corners to use.
