3000D/5L SAC conversion

Is daar iemand wat al hierdie volgende conversions laat doen het op n 3000D: gas flow, free flow, branch en optimisation? Dis die volle conversion soos geadverteer op hul website. Sal dit die betroubaarheid van my bakkie beinvloed? Is dit die 14 k werd vir die moontlike 10 kw ekstra? Is daar enige ander alternatiewe maniere vir meer krag buiten n turbo?

Hi N

Ek het dit gedoen en het so 7-8% extra gekry in 2007 as ek reg onthou., brandstof verbuik het dieselfde gebly. Wat ek later geleer het is dat die fabrikaat brandstof wel n verkil maak. Shell gee my die beste verbuik en performance -- BP doen niks vir my nie...
Toe het ek 5K betaal,daai tyd was die gasflow so 10k. Het nie die gasflow gedoen nie maar die optimisation en exhaust.

Ek glo tot vadag toe dat ek het reeds so exhaust opgehad maar het toe nie dit geweet nie.... hulle het my nogsteeds ge"charge" sonder om my te sê....
Ongelukking kan ek net op memory gaan van die episode. Daai tyd het ek dit nie geweet nie, jy weet, jonk en dommer as nou. Toe ek die bakkie terug kry kon ek nie verstaan hoekom die exhaust dieselfde lyk nie.... was net so bietjie blinker. Ek het n paar ander issues ook met hulle gehad en SAC sal my moonlik nooit weer sien nie. Al raad wat ek jou kan gee is om Alles neerteskryf en n kopie daarvan te kry met hulle hadtekening daarop. As jy hulle iets vra sit dit op skrif, leer nou uit my skoolgeld.

Firstly the claims they make are mostly 'pie in the sky' and I think R14k for what they claim to get is way too steep. Besides, you won't even feel the extra 10kw on that bakkie considering the weight.

The only SAC you should consider is a Solid Axle Conversion.

Party dino's is verdag en party is optimisties .
Na gasflow en uitlaat het ons maar die 3000 D gegroet en na 'n 7 M gegaan. Ek vermoed die spesifieke diesel is maar lui gebore.
Word te vinnig oud en te stadig wys.

Al verskil wat jy gaan agterkom is die R14k wat uit jou bankrekening weg is. Moet in elk geval nie krap aan die 3000D enjin nie. Hy is betroubaar soos hy is, maar die oomblik wat jy meer krag uit hom probeer haal, is hy ook nie meer so betroubaar nie. Het myne in 2003 verruil vir 1994 2.2 SFA en nog nooit weer teruggekyk nie. Dit is maar my ervaring.

The only garrenteed thing you will get from SAC is a expensive headache :blackeye: m2c
Leave the 5L as it is and it will go on for ever.

Had my 2.7i Legend 35 done by SAC. Chip, Mapping, Dyno SS Freeflow Exhaust and Branch. I must admit, I expected much more omph! Not sure if it was worth the money.
Service? Lets put it this way; they are quick but impersonal and clinical.
Will I use them again? - No!
