As far as I know if they are auto lockers they only supposed to engage when you select 4L or 2L?

Dink so daaraan Pieter.

My concern is, if I am going up a dune and apply the juice the diff will be locked. If I get to the top and have to turn but diff is locked, then it wont turn that easily.
Ronald told me that if you tap off the juice a bit it will disengage which will make turning easier, but 90% up a dune you dont want to tap off.

So the guys with Lockrites and True tracs in front , what is your experience regarding the drive ability of an auto locker?

Maar as ek by n skerp draai kom, dan disengage ek net gou een hub.

As jy hom eers gewoond is sal jy nie sonder hom ry nie.

So either een wiel gaan wil grou of altwee gelyk. So as jou momentum nie reg is nie gaat jy maklikeer jouself vasgrou. Reguit lyn is nou weer anders

The locker is always ready to self-engage when power is transmitted through the prop. I've got a lockright in the rear of the SFA, a pain to drive around in town. Bought a second one for the front from Ronald last year or before. Will fit second one to the front, but will remove the rear and fit selectable.

Rather fit to the front, and and sacrifice drivability in 4x4 that having it in the rear, and suffer in town.

These auto lockers are strong. They only break when in the front turning sharply when putting foot.
