Need some advice please. I have a 3.0D (5L-E Motor) s/c that is very capable, reliable, tough and in good condition. I am running 31” BFG A/T, have enough height, rear diff lock, duel battery with a lot of power points, bull bar, tow bar, HID lights and probably more, but cannot think of it now. What I do not enjoy is the lack of cruising speed (non turbo diesel), and want a bit more comfort.
As the van is as new (bought it new) and it has everything I want, what can I do to make it more comfortable?
My idea was to install 2 single seats as some 2wd had, then tries to sound proof the panel behind the seats. Has anyone done this before? What are the best seats to use? I would think the Toyota seats should just bolt in?
What to use as sound proofing? What results can I expect?
Maybe I should cut my losses and look for a D4D?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Re: sound proofing
Toni, I have seen something this weekend on television.
I might be wrong, but it sold at Alu-Cab.
And then you can also try Dynamat too.
