JIP, motorcade is goed :) Daai pa-en-seun besigheid doen goeie werk.


Praat met HOPPY oor die silencer. Dis net een boks en een stukkie pyp wat hulle vervang, so 1,5k ... maak n GROOT verskil !!!!!!!!


Izak by Dynotune het my bakkie se chip en tune gedoen - die "permanante" chip is heelwat goedkoper as die piggy back een !! (meer as wat die silencer kos).



AS, jy besluit on n EGT te laat doen - MOENIE die by Motorcade doen nie !!!!! Hulle sit dit NA die turbo in, en die eenheid wat hulle gebruik het n aaklige 5 sekonde BLEEEEEEP elke keer wat jy die ignition aansit !!

Free flow - praat met HOPPY. Hy het myne gedoen. Seker hy sal jou help, of na die regte mense stuur. NIE nodig vir n "full freeflow" stelsel nie !! Dis net daai GROOT box voor die agter as, en omtrent 1,5m se pyp wat vervang word.


EGT - jong ek waardeer die EGT (al frustreer daai beep my) Ek weet nou waar die temperatuut tipies is, en kan SIEN wanneer die engin harder werk - gister weer gesien die EGT vertel my voor ek die wind voel op die bakkie ... Nou kan jy besluit - wind van voor - hou jou voet daar en gebruik meer brandstof, of slek 5km/h uur af, SIEN hoe die EGT terugsak na normaal en hou daar tot die wind gaan lê ....


onthou dat deel van die chip is om op "full throttle" te "over fuel" - so jy HET krag, maar die engine werk HARD .... as jy nou sleep, opdraend, warm, en dalk selfs n bietjie wind ... die bakkie loop lekker en jy is bly oor die chip - MAAR sonder die EGT weet nie dat jou turbo witwarm loop nie ....

Dankie almal vir die raad maar nou is ek confuse. :roll: :crazy: Is dit dan die moeite werd vir n intercooler met chip. Ek sleep nie eintlik nie. Gemiddelde spoed is maar 100km/h. Is dit dan nie better soos dit is nie, stock standard??

Help my as ek verkeerd is. Die EGT gauge is net n analog of digital meter met n probe of thermocouple wat op jou exhaust manifold sit. Wat kan gestel word om jou te waarsku as die temp oor n sekere grade gaan. Niks fancy nie?

Ek het dit self gedoen, maar die gat vir die EGT probe was reeds in die exhaust manifold.

Die digitale meter is eenvoudig - so nie baie fancy nie, maar ek meet EGT, water temp, olie druk, volt meter, running time en die meter het 'n water level detection in. Kyk my thread wat ek opgesit het:

Ek het nou die bakkie terug gekry. Gechip. Geintercool. Gedyno. Gefree flow. Nou my vraag is. Eerste en tweede rat is als normaal maar van derde tot vyfde rat gebeur dinge wat ek nie aan gewoond is nie. Van 1500 rpm kom n geluid. As jy jou voet daar hou dan gaan dit weg. Trap jy die pedal dieper kom dit weer. Hou jy jou voet weer daar gaan dit weg. En so gaan dit aan. Sit die bakkie in neutral is my still al ref my hom tot 2500 rpm of hoeër. Is dit normal?

Ratelslang dis jou turbo... nou dat als oop is en kouer loop sal hy dit doen. Moenie aan goed karring wat jou onnodig gaan geld kos nie.

Laat ek jou gou in kort my situasie en ondervinding verduidelik van so 2 jaar terug...

Ek ry n Colt 2.8 non turbo (die diesel donkie een). Ek besluit toe om conversion te doen na turbo vir meer krag en minder rook. Sit turbo op en kry awesome results! Na so maand raak ek toe weer jeukerig en besluit toe op intercooler, wat n fees, maar toe begin die turbo fluit asof hy n mooi Fortuner langs die pad sien! Gaan toe terug na die oomie toe wat my gehelp het met als tot dusver en vra sy raad... FOUT! hy reken toe my turbo (nuwe een vanaf agente) is sat en moet ge"recon" word... haal toe uit en spandeer R2500 vir absoluut boggerall, fluit toe nogsteeds! Langer storie korter, gaan na SAC en word verduidelik dat daar nou meer lug in gesuig word as voor die intercooler en als is oper asof die longe meer suurstof kry... Hy fluit nogsteeds na 2 jaar en ek raak ook nie meer annoyed met dit nie, ek geniet net die krag...

Wat kos als tot dusver? Ek het bietjie huiswerk gedoen en dink daaraan om vir my 2.5D4-d n cooler op te sit. In Waltloo naby my is daar n oom wat diy cooler kits verkoop vir R4700, en by Huntex was daar mense wat die "RaceChip" verkoop het vir R3800.

Sit jou cooler op en van jou trok Dastek of SAC of iemand wat 'n Unichip opsit en JOU trok op 'n dyno instel - dan weet jy JOU kar loop optimaal en EGT's loop nie te hoog nie!

Nou dat ek weet als werk en is reg is ek baie happy.

Wiaan. Die cooler was R6700 fitted en die chip met dyno was R3400.

Vra vir Allen hoe my bakkie trek.

Geniet dit, jy gaan nie spyt wees nie. Dis die beste geld wat ek nog ooit op my Lux spandeer het.

JIP, stem saam - ek het 3 jaar gewag voor ek dit gedoen het (gewag tot die waarborg uitgeloop het). BAIE bly ek het dit gedoen !!!
