hello almal.
het 3 maande terug 2001 KZTE gekoop.
ek oorweeg om my runner boards swart te spuit. die aluminium is al vaal en dink swart sal n "mean look" gee.
het iemand dit al gedoen en hoe lyk dit.
het gaan kyk by naaste TOYOTA agent en die nuwe legend 45 lyk kwaai met dit.

Jy sal in elk geval daai alu mooi skoon moet maak as deel van voorbereiding as jy hulle wil verf. Persoonlik hou ek meer van die rou alu.

Maar nou kom die vraag, waarvoor sal die bakkie gebruik word? Gaan jy roetes ry en die manne in jou omgewing vergesel op uitstappies? Indien wel, dan sou ek liewer daai alu side step verkoop en 'n redelike prys daarvoor kry voordat hulle gebuig of geduik word. Vat dan daai geld by en kry vir jou ordentlike 'rock sliders', of as jy handig is en kan sweis, maak dan jou eie ..... dit sal die bakwerk beskerm - alu side steps help niks nie. ;-)

Hi mud dog
Ek twyfel of ek sulke rowe terein sal aanpak. Is ongelukkig net 2x4. Ek ry meestal ground pad en dink die alu borde help die cab beskerm teen klippe wat opskiet. Ek is van plan om n stel rocksliders self te bou maar werk nog aan die ontwerp. Dankie vir die advies. Sal fotos oplaai nadat ek hulle gespuit het

Jammer man, het nie opgelet en besef dat dit nie 4x4 is nie. Janee, in daai geval is dit beter om die trappe te behou vir die redes wat jy genoem het. ;-)

Ek het ook daaroor gewonder. Ongelukkig is ek baie ver van sulke tipe dienste. Ek het hulle toe gespuit gister en dink dit lyk baie beter. Ek het die wheel archers en die chassis ook met stone chip geverf en het n baie mooier effek op die voorkoms

Lyk sommer baie beter :thumbup: Hou van jou staal rims ook.
Het al baie gewonder of ek nie maar my mags ook moet ruil vir die staal rims nie

Ek het NS5 as primer gebruik en NS8 vir top coat. Ek het die onderkant NS88 stone chip geverf
