Suspension lift elke keer bo body lift!

Body lift doen jy alleenlik om 'n enjin te laat pas wat te groot is, of om cool te lyk. Hou in gedagte dat daar BAIE meer werk is met 'n body lift.

Albei sal die voertuig se COG verhoog, maar suspension lift gee darem die extra voordeel van verbeterde approach, departure en break-over angles. Afhangende hoe ver jy hom lig sal jy die voorste briek pype moet verleng en LSPV agter weer stel.

As ek die suspension lift doen, wat word als gedfoen? Wat moet ek ingedagte hou of is dit beter om te laat doen? Watse maak is waarde vir geld?

Praat met Darryl van Mikem suspensions (ook 'n lid hier) vir beste waarde vir geld asook puik diens. AS jy net met 75mm of miskien 100mm lig is daar gewoonlik niks anders waarna jy moet kyk behalve die LSPV weer te stel. Vra ook oor die hoek van die half-shafts voor dat hulle nie te skerp vir die CV's is nie. Briek pype behoort lank genoeg te wees, maar check hulle in elk geval. ;-)

Suspension lift increases your vehicle's 4x4 capability... Body lift only does not... Both will increase COG as Andy said..

Jy kan ook 'n diff-drop doen (voorste diff effens te verlaag) om die CV / half-shaft hoek te verminder. Praat met Daryl, hy ken sy goed. ;-)

George, op die oomblik het ek 245/75/15 tyres op. Die rim is n wyer en is diep. So hy staan verder uit as die oorspronklike rim. Met die setup het die voor tyers teen die body geraak as jy skerp draai. Die tortion bars is toe opgestel. Ek wil hou 265/75/15 opsit. Dit gaan weer die body raak met die size tyre.

Miskien is dit verkeerde opsit. Doen my huiswerk voor ek n besluit maak

Ek het 265s of dan 31" op 'n 10" rim op my IFS 2.7 gebruik.
Lig net jou tortion bars tot dat jy so10 tot 20 mm tussen die stop rubbers het aan die onderkant.

as hy nog vang trim die vender en mud flaps so bietjie
