Just bought it its only done 140ks the guy from dealership said it was the tyres but I wasnt too sure so I changed the bearings stil making humming loudly once u get up to 40 ks even worse at 70

Get it checked out by toyota or AA , and if there is problems then the dealership has to fix.
Consumer protection act protects customers from unscrupulous dealers selling people vehicles with known problems.

But be quick, you have a few months to remedy the situation.
Not sure if noisy tyres will be covered though if that is indeed the problem. Dealer could argue it's not a hidden defect, and you as the customer could have heard it with test drive.

I agree. Have it checked out by a competent independent source - not sure if you have an Automobile Assoc. in New Zealand. The Consumer Protection Act that Shaakir refers to here in RSA may have a similar enactment in your local statues over there. Might be worth investigating if you don't know.

That all said, tyres can definitely produce a hum, especially those with an aggressive tread pattern. If the tyres are the same all around, then you will get the hum from the rear as well. Tyre tread hum does not transfer into the steering wheel as a rule so if you're feeling it on the steering the chances are that it's not tyres. You've replaced the bearings so that's not likely to be the cause, but has the alignment been checked? Does it pull to any side?

Wr took it for a test drive with him in it hr said it was just the tires but will take it in to toyota thanks mud dog
