TJM suspension for Kzte
I wanted more ground clearance and space for larger mud terain tyres, I shoped around for an extra blade spring for the rear as I felt that replacing the spring set was a bit expensive for the gains I might get.
You can adjust the torsion bars for more hight but the ride gets bumpy as the bar gets close to its limits. After shoping around I fitted the TJM torsion bars (much thicker than standard) and shocks (longer working range than standard) all round. Overall lift is about 80mm.The shocks give me more reach with better articulation. The ride is much improved, there is much less body roll and less dive when braking.
I'm very happy and it cost half the price of OME (OME is an excelent product but the price is eina..)

When I shopped around before doing my Lux's suspension TJM was way more expensive than OME. (4 Shocks, torsion bars & rear springs)

Looking to lift my KZTE aswell !!

Re: TJM suspension for Kzte
I looked at the price of OME and TJM kits and found TJM more expensive on the springs, but the torsion bars and shocks where cheaper than OME.
For me the aftermarket spring pack would be to expensive for the gains i would get so i decided to add a load spring from a local spring supplier in my area, fitting included the rear spring cost me R600.
I turned the torsion on the front way up but found the ride bumpy and the strain on the bars didnt look to healthy.I fitted TJM torsion bars and the ride was great.
I drove the vehical like this for a couple of months and found the standard shocks did not extend far enough to use all the articulation, I saved some more and bought 4 TJM shocks for all round.
I am very happy with the result and feel that the money was well spent.
31 inch tyres would now fit, but I wanted to go for 32 inch muds. 32's where fine on the back but turning was a problem on the front. I did a 50mm body lift and the 32's work perfectly.
