Modifications

It has been modified for 38 inch tires and is currently running 38 inch Radial Monster Mudder. The front suspension was cut of and lowered by 5 cm and moved forward by 4cm (no bolt on lift kit with higher CV angle etc.) and then there was placed a spacer between the front springs for 4cm additional lift, so the total lift is 9cm. The rear suspension is a custom made 4link coil spring suspension, moved 6cm back and the lift is approx 10cm (rear coil springs, shocks and other parts in the rear suspension is from LandCruiser 80). Auxiliary fuel tank (total capacity 150L) and 2,5 inch exhaust pipes. It has 1:4,88 gears and ARB lockers front and rear, ARB compressors for the lockers and one other on board 12V 65A 175L/min compressor for tire inflation. Garmin navigational system and VHF radio

Modifications

ARB color coded sahara bar, sidesteps, rear step towbar.
ARB compressor, inverter, UHF, stereo system with reverse camera, dvd and sub. Rear seat flip down mod. ARB smooth finish canopy with awning.
Dual batts with monitor, DP chip, IPF spots and spread.
3.5/4" lift consisting of old man emu 2" with 1" strut spacers and extended ball joint in the UCA (stops from hitting the spring on full droop). Extended shackles in the rear.
MR diff drop, custom made bash plate to suit (modified TJM).
305-70-16 MT claws on Dynamic 16x8 0 offset, inner gaurds modded to fit as well as body mount chop an plate. ARB splash gaurds modded as well.

Hi guys, Came across this thread by accident so thought Id contribute some more recent pics for your enjoyment -







On the way are:


-New sliders
-Beadlocked Wheels and 35" tyres from USA
-Fibreglass Fenders will be removed and fenders will be cut open more
-Larger front brake
and a few other smaller R & D projects along the way that will help 35's work on 3-3.5" lift properly.
