Safari Snorkel for 2.5 D4D

Post by Bradders »

Can anyone help me with this question? I have got a 2013 Hilux HL3 (UK model) which has the 2.5 D4D engine. Can I fit the Safari snorkel to this model?

The safari snorkel is listed as fitting the 3.0 D4D and I was wondering if anyone of you guys have successfully fitted it to the smaller engine?

Thanks!

It should be the same unless the 2013 has a revised air filter housing

I have the Ironman snorkel fitted to my 2010 SRX 2,5 D4-D.

The Ironman unit looks exactly like the Safari unit - for half the price ...

Dont know if the 2013 Hilux intake differs from the 2010 Hilux.

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome!

I get my new HIlux in 2 weeks so will post some pics when it arrives. Taking it to the islands off the West Coast of Scotland so will try and get some good shots of some of the scenery along with the car.

Thanks for the info on the snorkel, it sounds like it will fit. I saw a 2.5 mountain rescue hilux up here with one on and it looked great.

Cheers
