I bought a set of axles to convert a Vigo to SFA with coils in front (and rear if you wish)
Anyone interested in the conversion or axles?

Re: Vigo SFA
this could be interesting, what would you say something like this would cost? And on another thread it was sayd the SFA axles measurements is different to that of the Vigo, will that not be a problem?Hoppy wrote:I bought a set of axles to convert a Vigo to SFA with coils in front (and rear if you wish)

Mmmm!!
This is the plan for my Vigo, but the budget don't allow for it at this stage...
It would also be interested to find out what is needed and the budget for a conversion to SFA

Re: Vigo SFA
I'm guessing the axles in question are Cruiser axles with coils. Wider track than the Hilux SFA but very close to the Vigo track.
That will make for a Vigo with huge attitude & capability - almost as good as a standard SFA .
I'm watching this one..... >

Crooza VX 80 efi - fully locked.

Re: Vigo SFA
SFA axles are to short
Cruiser axles are offset on the rear and the front driveshaft is on the wrong side.
The axles in question are dana axles, the front driveshaft is on the passenger side, they have large vented discs all round and ABS sensors, they have coil spring brackets, 4 link front and 3 link rear suspension with LS units front and back.
If i can't get a Vigo to fit it into, it's going in a spaceframe, lexus-driven, dune monster.
