Dankie vir die komplimente ouens !!
Bester - Ja hy is colour coded, hulle kom in n ander tipe wit, grys of swart. Probleem is met powder coating hulle kan nie die kleur 100% match nie, daarom het ek myne laat colour code.

Those bumpers are beautifull, but for that price, (R22000??) not enough protection :stir: hit a cow or kudu and your vehicle is still GONE...

That is if you plan on hitting a kudu or a cow  - even with a ARB, TJM or Ironman your vehicle will suffer some damage hitting one of those( I have the Photo`s to proof that) !! Mine is purely for cosmetics, recovery points and better approach angle compared to ARB, TJM or Ironman bumpers !! (See Pics attached below - Rhino Bar vs. Ironman Bar) :subscribed:

Also Consider this, On average - Replacement Bumper = R18500 Excl Fitment - No recovery points for Bow Shackles!! - No Integrated Bash Plate!! - No Fog Lights included(Have to use old standard fogs from Toyota standard bumper)!! and this with a relatively worse approach angle than the Rhino Bar and also no as good looking too !!! :dance1:

Stirring that pot right back @ you :stir: !! LOL :)

Purely as a matter of curiosity, is there a winch box built into that bumper?

The pre-facelift has a space for the winch behind where the numberplate sits. Very neat and tidy!!

Good question Andy - Yes it does have a winch mount bracket which bolts onto the chassis to where you would mount the winch !!

Jaco the Arb was developed in a way that you use the OE recovery points and that it use the OE fogs, keep that in mind. And yes, it will take a knock f it hit a cow/donkey but in most cases you will drive away from it with damage but yet it would protect the main things like radiator etc. Further the bar was Air bag tested to standard to get the deployment rate right.

I like the looks on the Rhino. So don't shoot down another Manufacturer to sell.

Hi Louis - Thank you for your comments !!
Please do not get me wrong, both bumpers would take a knock should you hit something like a cow, i was merely stating the benefits/features vs. price on the Rhino Bar compared to the ARB.
We also sell the ARB and OME products(We just did one yesterday) so this was not a matter of brand bashing or shooting down another product. (I was only using ARB as an example !! The ARB Replacement bar prices are also a bit more than other products in the market but also has it`s benefits which influences the pricing ie. Airbag deployment factor etc.!!)
Consumers tend to think the price is a bit steep on this particular product but if one take all the benefits and features into account the price start looking a lot more reasonable and feasible.- Penny wise pound foolish - One gets what one pays for !!

I have been dealing with all various brands of Bumpers, Suspensions and 4x4 accessories for the last 9 odd years and this is way i did not enter into a franchise with one of the well known chain stores but rather building my own business which is multi branded and affording me the opportunity to cater for all customers in terms of brand loyalty and preference.

No offence meant and non taken !!

I also have an after market bumper fitted to my Hilux and I thought it compared cosmetically and probably as hardy as some of the bigger and better known branded bumpers available. BUT, I have to admit that that Rhino bumper of yours is the best looking and finnished bumper I have seen.Trully awsome.

The Amada were great for what I used the for .63mm lift at front 35mm lift at back with extended shackles . I had it in my last S/C bakkie . Any higher I think you would run in to trouble with wheel alignment . I also had 31/10.5 R15 M/T . it all worked well together

Agreed, but the price at this stage is just ridiculous! Got quoted R35k for a colour coded revo bumper in March! Maybe we can create a thread for similar bumpers to the Rhino and the manufacturers contact details? I'm not currently in the market for one, but when my ship comes in (or rather small paddle boat) i would like to asses the different options.

I have heard there is a guy in the eastern cape, BCD Customs or something, that makes a very similar bar at a good price

Sorry for Hi-jacking the tread :surrender:

Looks great Jaco!! I really do like those Alu-bumpers from Rival, especially with the integrated LED fogs, the lines look clean.

The Revo is my father's and he pulled the trigger on a ONCA bar with the hoops over the lights like this:

http://onca4x4.co.za/product/revo-namib-edition-rx/

But sadly both these bars (ONCA and Rival) do not fall within the "budget" category for some of us and other options must be considered

Do they have a similar one for Vigo pre-face lift? This is one good looking bumper. I really like the rhino, but it's out of my price range.
