Tazz Power Steering

Post by pietpetoors »

Our little 2005 Tazz does not have power steering

Is there anyone out there who knows if the Corollas with the same shape's power steering pump etc will fit in the Tazz.
Was there any Tazzes that came out with power steering

It is only the steering rack, pump and pipes I will need?

Wat se jaarmodel is hy, ek moet dus so ene by 'n scrapyard soek vir die pomp en pype, ek oorweeg om die steering rack eerder nuut te koop.

2002 Model. Was net vir about 2 jaar in produksie.

Hello

This might be a bit late...

It depends on the model motor thats in that car.
If its a 4AF or 4AGE motor, any Corrola parts will work on it, power steering , aircon etc etc..

As far as i can remember all 13/16/1800 aircons and power steering units are interchangeble.

I might have the pump motor for the power steering lying around in the garrage somewhere, if you want it, and its still there, you can have it..

Is your steering heavy? I fitted some 195 tyres and mags to my opel corsa and the steering was lighter than my wifes corsa with power assisted steering. Not sure why this was but it did work.

Ok Pieter, a bit offtopic here but, the savings on electricity are being planted this way? :silent:

I want to agree with JohanM on this one - the main difference btwn the 2E and the 4AFE is one bein a 1300 and the other a 1600 but engine layout the same.

Phone Caryota in Stikland 021 903 6935, they would probably have dealt with similar requests and might even have the parts in stock.
