DIY snorkel - show me yours!

Post by Thabogrobler »

I'm chewing on building a snorkel for my SFA.

The web is full of pics and ideas - some good, most very, very bad!!!

Now is your opportunity to show-off your brainchild!

Allan, since you will never do it, send me your bank details and I'll deposit R100 in the morning and send the couriers to collect!

@ Martin .... :lmao: :lmao:

@ Thabo .... why don't you just get the real thing - much less hassles and quite easy to fit. Yeah, they are pricey for what they are, but not so bad if you get through Pieter (4X4 Direct) .... it'll look better than DIY and save you many hours of labour time.

The alternative is to redirect your intake from the vent channel in front of the windshield - it'll give you cooler air to the motor but you'll still be fairly restricted IRO wading depth.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

4X4 Direct is so cheap, you can never build it for that money
