Ek wil dit ook al lankal doen, maar kry nie een wat klein genoeg is om tussen my d4d se sitplekke te pas nie

Got a small Waeco between the front seats, holds eight tins of cooldrink and still some space for sandwiches
Has the function to keep cool or warm.

Lekker om so iets te hê, maar daai is vir my bietjie te groot .... ek gaan elke keer dat ek rat wissel my elemboog stamp. Sou verkieslik iets kleiner daar insit.

Some time ago Hi-Fi Corp sold a little one that fitted nicely between the front seats but I've not seen one in ages. If anyone does see one, please do let me know so that I can get one too.

HI-JACK TIME :surrender: sorry

How good are these thermocoolers? will they keep my beer cold and my meat fresh on a long weekend excursion (I'm to poor to be able to afford a proper fridge)?

I have one of those mobicool jobs.. It fits perfectly between the seats of a SFA. They are good to keep cold stuff cold for a while... It will not make things cold.. and if it gets really hot it doesnt work all that well. It is also very heavy on power and will drain your battery in no time flat...

I have one of those mounted in my Cruuzer and it is a piece of shit. It flattens my aux battery within two days whilst there is a 60 watt solar panel connected to the battery to boost it. And as said it keeps stuff coldish, but doesn't make stuff cold.

Sadly I have to agree - it is a piece of s@$t! Does not work at all is my experience. Swopped it for a small Waeco fridge which is brilliant.

The only time I find these kinda coolers effecient, is when plugged in a 220v supply, in a shaded room, especially B&B's where there may not be a fridge. But then again they take up space if you gonna carry them just for that. I have a Campmaster one at home, nice small bar fridge in the bedroom :laugh2: when missus is not home :dance1:

Came in handy other year when my mom was in hospital to keep her drinks and yog-arts cold
