Anybody running a Lexus thru a snorkel?
I'm looking idees to run my Lexus with my safari snorkel. At this stage it's running with the standard Donaldson system the 22R came out with. My engin is being smothered with this filtering system.

Nope. I'm currently using a cone filter (it has been this way for a couple years), and I'll eventually fit a big donaldson instead. Probably from a Nissan or Ford, but I've got no intention to go the snorkel route.
The engine is so electric I think it'll die long before I drown it...

Re: Anybody running a Lexus thru a snorkel?
I spoke to a filtration specialist about fitting a filter with the correct CFM rating. Cost is about R2000 for the filter housing and fitment bracket. BMC makes a similar system for about R2500. EINA!!!!!
But I found this on K&N's website. I waiting for a quote on this filter from ATS.

The reason for the snorkel is not for wading water, but more for dust. I drive a lot of dirt roads around the lowveld and it's a killer of engines. Driving in water higher than the wheels, are looking for trouble.

Do you perhaps have a link to the filter specialist's suggestion?
I tried to get one of the enclosed BMC pod type filters but nobody had stock for me...
Anyway for the moment I'm in the market for a 3.3v6 Nissan Donaldson, that thing is MASSIVE!

No don't have a link. But they did measurements and it will fit 100% into the area where the filter is now.
