Re: Cressida motors Rock!!!!
The Cressida 7M motor is capable of propelling the old SFA Hilux to speeds for which it was never designed, right off your speedometer. Your problem lies now with the (lack of...) road-holding, and most certainly the (lack of...) braking ability.
Pampoen, we would like to see you eventually mature into a fully grown pampoen, and not read about the pampoen squash that you could so easily become through racing your Hilux at speeds that would turn the Japanese designers of this very capable 4x4 off-road vehicle snow-white with fear and dismay. If it's speed you're after, you've got the wrong vehicle.

Luke
This pic was taken on my cell camera in heavy traffic on the Ben Schoeman Highway. The traffic was keeping me back and then a stretch on about 1 km opened in which I could gun it. This speed is relatively quick to get to from here the acceleration is a bit slower, but I can get it to touch the reset pin and then some after a while.

A man and is the sound any different to a v6 or does it sound more cruiser straight six like?

Way different from a V6, and it revs quicker and cleaner too.

Mine gives me the goosbumps on the forearms on a hot summersday with wound down windows at 4000 to 5000 rpm - sounds sooo beautiful!
The cruiser 4.5 petrol is totally different - you feel the heaaavy crank and low revving torquey nature much more tahn with the 7mge
The 7m will scream - and the cruiser has a deep throat!
