hayden adjustable thermostat

Post by Ostilion »

I see some guys are having problems with thermostats when doing the Lexus conversion. I have been looking at a conversion for many moons now and I cam across the Hayden adjustable Thermostat.

The Hayden 3647 kit includes a module that is adjustable from 140°F to 260°F (60°C to 126°C)

The dealer here in SA is "The V8 Shop" in Alberton. According Keith, they don't keep any stock, but he can get if needed.

If interested getting it from "The V8 Shop"

Many years ago, in the age of V6 Kombi's a home brewed conversion made it to my shop, the guy used a std geizer thermostat, ran the switching wires through a 5 pin relay and bob's your aunti! He made me promise not to change his "adjustable themostat" as it worked perfect!
