Good day All.
So I have started with the big job and I have a couple of questions, any/all assitance help would be greatly appreciate, Mark has already given me some advice thats going to help, Thanks Mark.
I have the standard SFA.... Have cut off the original 4y brackets on the chassis legs and placed the engine in without the headers (exhaust manifolds - original)
Have gone the route of manual with the moulded bellhousing.
1. The Hand brake bracket is a problem, had to take it off, engine push's up against the firewall, it this correct, do I need to move it?
2. Other head is very close to the other side firewall
3. Using original engine mounting brackets with smaller round rubber mountings.
4. Sump, Steering arm and alternator are VERY close to the chassis, sump is almost touching.
5. Very worried that the Original Manifolds are going to catch on the chassis legs.
I'm I doing something wrong? Do I have to do a body lift and how much.....
As mentioned, any help, assistance, suggestions would help, I have attached a couple of pics to illustrate my hickups.
Thanks

Re: Lexus Conversion
craig the easiest way is we buy 38mm silicone hose bends and straight hose and then use stainless 38mm dairy tube and sometimes the bends as well for the rest.

Re: Lexus Conversion
will post some picks andries , why i like doing it this way is you keep 1 bend and a length of the straight stuff and you can fix any hose , if you go and get a funny shape one to fit , it does not mean that every spare shop will have it , so if it goes in the boondocks you are going to be stuffed.
