Another Lexus conversion
Hi,
Got my is Hilux back a few weeks ago from Mark Watson, VVT with 4 spd auto. Took longer than anticipated but all's well that's ends well. Some small issues to sort out but we'll get there.
First impressions:
That volume control sure sounds good!!
Throttle is a bit sensitive, but one gets used to it.
Gear changes are super smooth!! And I really mean super smooth, one only see the ref counter needle drop if one drives like a civilised person .
Huge difference between the old and the new. Can't really describe it. Instead of rowing the gearlever around, now I clutch the steering wheel and worry about keeping the puddle jumper on the tarmac.
We'll see about fuel consumption!!
Cheers,
C

Lyk nou soos 'n omgekeerde L i.p.v. 'n T
Cheers,
C

Ek aanvaar hy is mooi haaks, dalk by Mark hoor hoe bepaal hulle dit. Sal hom nog toets met 4x4!
Cheers,
C
