We have a 2.7 petrol 4x4 and fitted Lexus v8.Now we must put the battery on charger every night. We took the bakkie to a auto elec and they said there nothing wrong.
Does anyone have similar problems?

Many things...

Loose terminals on battery
Loose terminals on Alternator
Voltage regulator set too low
Battery is feeling its age
Starter is dragging
Battery is not fully charged to start with

No doubt others can add to this list.

The alternators on the Lexus motors do give a lot of trouble, have it repaired/serviced.
