More almal,
Besig met lexus ombouing, van waar af kry julle die temp vir die hilux hitte meter. Sien die temp sender is die lexus sin.
Vervang julle hom met die hilux een of tap julle net van die motor sin na die gauge toe.

Blouaap, wees versigtig om temp senders en clusters te meng. Die temp senders het 'n spesifieke resistance characteristic curve. Elke sender en cluster kombinasie is gekalibreer. As jy die senders en clusters begin verander gooi jy daardie kalibrasie uit.

So in kort, lexus temp sender by lexus cluster. Hilux sfa sender by sfa cluster. As jy meng, loop jy die risko om 105C = 90C te kry. Veral as dit kom by toyota hitte meters wat boggerol wys onder 105C.

Bostaande is gemaak met die aanname dat toyota verskillende senders op verskillende motors gebruik.

Ek stem saam met Johan,
Ek het nou onlangs vir my n' 98 IFS hilux net 1UZ conversion aangeskaf. En dit lyk vir my of die vorige eienaar toyota met Lexus probeer laat werk het. Die oorspronklike toyota cluster is in, maar ek kon sien met die terug ry van Pta af Richardsbaai toe dat die temp gauge (alhoewel hy wel werk) nie regtig die regte temp gee nie.

Ek stem 100% saam. Ek het my lexus sensor op my lexus ecu gehou en n ekstra SFA sensor by Toyota gaan koop vir my SFA cluster. part nr 83420-16040 R581.80.
