As jou Hilux vir jou krrrrrrrrrr! sê

Onlangs gebeur met 'n vriend dat sy ou Hilux 2.2 vir hom krrrrrr! maak en het hulle omtrent gesoek vir die probleem. Uiteindelik was die agterste 'racer' bearing in die ratkas wat gegaan het. Die splines op die kort propshaft wat mos moet in en uit kan skuif, het vuilgoed ingekry en die shaft kon nie meer sy volle kompensasie doen nie en toe chop daai bearing af.......

So, as hy vir jou krrrrrrr maak, kyk na daai ratkas se bearing en die beweging van die propshaft!

Moral of the story is not to neglect greasing of the prop-shaft splines (there is a nipple on the shaft for this) as well as the universals (there are also nipples on the uni's). :winkx:
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
