Baviaanskloof trip- 1 to 10 April 2011

Post by Polarbear2008 »

Just returned from a FABULOUS 10 days in the Baviaanskloof! The 'Lux and the Echo3 worked like a charm! I will write a trip report (with photos) and post it shortly. All I can say is that I AM going back! Must be one of the most beautiful pieces of land in our country!

Trip report is here! But the wonderful site wont let me upload more than 200KB! What do I do with the photos?? I've even compressed them and reformatted the file to PDF, but no go!

Please mr webmaster up the cap just a little!

Theunis

It's wrong to tell us about the trip and then make us wait for the pics and report

Glad to hear you had an awesome time, defi 1 of the most beautifull places we have.

Was Smitskraal running with water?

Did you go to Rooiehoek, if so what did the river look like? Low or full?

Look forward to the report.

Zane, there was a little water everywhere, i.e. at the low water bridges, and small to medium puddles here and there, but nothing I would call full rivers at all. Most of the water we crossed did not even touch the hub locks of the Hilux!

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
