Dors 2.7 Legend 35 Hilux
Is daar 'n oplossing ?
dankie

Re: Dors 2.7 Legend 35 Hilux
Hi Arno
I have asked myself this question many a time. From the research I have done and the many threads I have read, the fuel consumption on the 2.7 is between 6-8 km/l
I am speaking under correction, but i think the older model had a different intake manifold that made it a little bit lighter on fuel.
I have a 2004 2.7 dc and i tend to avg around 7km/l, but I have a SAC stage one conversion (chip, branch, exhaust and airbox mod). I find there is no difference in my fuel consumption between traveling 110 kph or 130kph.
Hope this helps

Tell us more about the airbox mod ?

Re: Dors 2.7 Legend 35 Hilux
Here is something to make you feel much better.
My 2002 2.7i gives me 4.6km/L - 5.2km/L depending on how I'm driving.
Nothing wrong with my Lux, bought it stock standard from n meisiekind with 111,000km on the clock.
Well looked after and hardly ever did offroad. I got over 7km/L but then everything changes when I
changed it into a man-lux,
Comes with the sport manne!
Hows that for DORS :!:

My 1999 also give 6km/lt. Never got time to look at it. Sure some time on a decent Agent/Dyna will get it better on the diagostics machine?

Nogmaals dankie.

Re: Dors 2.7 Legend 35 Hilux
