Ek sal orders aanvaar...
Elkeen kan se hoeveel Rand sin hy soek, dan sal ek dit vir hom laat kerf en vacuum pack.
Daar is bees, kudu, blouwildebees, eland.
Die eland is volgens my die beste, lekker droewors en biltong.

Ag OK man .... I'll be there 'in spirit' as long as you don't forget to raise a glass for me! (I'll ask afterwards to see if you remembered) .... an O-ja, you can send me my biltong .... I'd prefer to have that in person!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: GTG My place - 24 Sep
Oom (??) Eric was wondering if he would make it, but it only starts at 3PM and had I been there, I would have left again about 17:30, I don't want to drive back home in the dark. But the rest of the family confirmed just yesterday that they are coming down to the river again for a GTG, so even that plan has fallen flat. Which is a pity, because the drive is only about an hour and a half from me.

Thanks Francisco / Riana for your excellent hospitality! We really enjoyed our 'Kuier'!
Really good to see Mark / Danelle & Kiara again .... missed seeing Kristen.
Francisco, Leon, Martin, Neil and Alec it was a real pleasure meeting you all and your respective families!!
Alec, (and Eric) you will have to wait till I get back to E.L. for the pics ..... here only with a laptop and no re-sizing facilities. Am in the throes of deciding to stay an extra day ... therefore only travelling back on Tuesday now! So will have to keep you guys in suspense for a while. (Again).

Re: GTG My place - 24 Sep
I would just like to say thank you to all who came to our place on Saturday. It was great having all of you over. It turned out to be a great GTG for us and we hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
A special thank you to Oom Andy and Tannie Sherldene for making the long trip to join us. We all had our suspicions of who the Special Guests were going to be but I doubt any of us thought it would be you Oom Andy. Thank You!!!!
It was nice seeing everyone again and meeting those who we have never met before. It was great!!!
For those that were not there, we had fireworks “literally” at one stage. Gerhard, I will have to take you up on the offer for the silicone wire… I have to replace all the way from the switch right to the globe…
