Clutch

Post by Rider »

Hi, my clutch is going and need to replace a it very soon but I'm not sure which one to buy
They have the import make clutch kit for around R550 and the expensive make for around R1100.
The guy says that he had no comebacks with the import clutch kit.
What you guys have to say about this

Is that clutch plate only? At the very least, you must replace the release bearing at the same time. Ask for a Sachs or a Luk Repco clutch or clutch kit. The kit will have the release bearing as well as a new pressure plate. ;-)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

A full kit for R550 ....... :shock2: ... I'd have a problem trusting the quality right off the bat. Get something decent that you can have confidence in ..... you don't want to be pulling the box out again and re-doing everything 6 months down the line because it's failed.
