Sand bestuur

Raad asb. ons gaan in April Mosambiek toe. 13km sandpad vanaf teer. my voertuig se bande het nog ongeveer 20,000km loopvlak oor. Moet ek liewer nuwe bande aanskaf met beter loopvlak of is 'n gladder band beter vir sand bestuur?

Deon, ek dink nie die loopvlak gaan baie verskil maak op sand nie. As die side-walls van die bande nog goed is, sou ek hulle hou .... onthou jy gaan baie kilos ry met afgeblaasde bande en daai side-walls gaan heelwat flexing moet verdeur. As hulle klaar bietjie ge-perish is en daar enige tekens van kraake in die rubber is, dan is dit beter om hulle te vervang. ;-)

Ek persoonlik dink hoe glader 'n band hoe beter op sagte sand want jou bande gaan minder maklik grou

Deon, die hoeveelheid loopvlak gaan nie 'n invloed he nie. ten minste nie so dat jy dit sal agterkom nie. Solank die loopvlak se toestand van so 'n aard is dat hulle veilig is om die langpad mee aan te durf, sou ek hulle ook gebruik het. Jou grootste bekommernis behoort egter papwiele te wees, nie sandbestuur nie.

Pas banddruk aan om by die omstandighede te pas en jy behoort okay te wees. :thumbup: :thumbup:
