THROTTLE-BOY'S RIDES

Post by THROTTLE-BOY »

:? I'm new to this forum and already confused.....how does this star system work?
from what i can gather it doesn’t have anything to do with vehicle mods or capability.
how many posts must one have to qualify for an upgrade........i have never owned a "tar"wheel drive!
Please give me some tips on a quick upgrade.......

Hi Mark, and welcome to the forum. Just one thing - try lay off the caps... makes it difficult to read and implies that you are shouting, which I am sure you are not

Hi guys, this is a great site to share info on,i have
some pics of my '83 toy.
I only take her out on weekends when 'SHE's' been a good girl.......
She enjoys MUD,ROCKS,SAND and small BRITISH CARS.

This is a '83 hilux "the originl hard body" model, chevy 4.3 fuel injected V6,5 speed hilux box, Marlin crawler,
Miller rear locker,Richmond front locker (AMA CLICK CLICK),custom 4-link rear suspension, onboard compressor,
onboard welding unit, hydraulic ram stearing ,internal roll-cage,exo-skeleton cage,36x12.5x15 Simex Centipede's on 10" bead-lock steel rims.

As you can see the body has some "ROCKRASH" but the stickers seem to keep the old girl together......
cheers

Mark,

I'm old...er than 25... battling to see the pics

Try loading them on http://www.photobucket.com create a "public" gallery, use about 640 x 480 pixel size, then simply post the image link here. Refer Bennie's instructions here viewtopic.php?f=21&t=603

Yes, this is the problem. Use irfanview (or similar image viewer/editor) and resize them (from the original, not the avatar sized ones) to about 640 x 480 pixel size. Don't go bigger than that, because the guys on dial-up (BB supporters etc) will then have a hard time downloading. Also, try keep the size to approximately 100kb maximum (easily done in Irfanview by adjusting the quality slider to ±80%)

http://www.irfanview.com

Then try re-posting your pictures, loading them straight from your computer, by browsing to them (refer the "Browse Box" under the Post options), and then click "Add the File". Bingo!
