Hoppy is quite accommodating in terms of when you pick up / drop off - you can arrange for a time in the evening if that makes it easier.
Otherwise the Brackenfell train station is within walking distance if you need to get into town - I've used that option before.

Re: Mechanic/Workshop in Cape Town
Thanks Rooies. Parow is a bit out of the shadow of the mountain. Hope I am not being fussy... any nearer?
I got an 88 SFA and want to nurse the baby so would prefer a long term relationship with the mechanical guys...
Also looking for a body shop to do some body touch ups...

Between the two of them you cant go wrong. Even if you have to hire a taxi to take you back.
I use both of them

Dave
seeing that we have twisted your arm, there is also JB's Auto repairs in Radnor Street Parow Industria.
Also a specialist on Landcruiser and Hilux vehicles. All these chaps are thorough and honest, as I have personally dealt with all of them, and you will see if you do a search on this site, you will see that I am not alone in saying this. It seems that the Southern Suburbs is littered with LR workshops, as that seems to be the weapon of choice that side....
