thanks lourens , always good to see your face at the shop , welcome any time , but if you stay any longer im gonna give you an overall ( hee hee )
only kidding , yes the 12 is running well thanks steve at jms motorsport for his patience and advice always there for his cussies , fitted the snorkels and i think it helped a lot , 120kph in fourth you plant it and you only need fifth at 190 and it pulls , but the consumption now loaded and cruising nicely 120 - 140 is 9.5km/l so its pretty good.

I am trying to find the 1 ur fse motor, its a 4,6 litre V8 pushing over 280 kw and 500 nm of torque. But I cant find one yet. Next option is the 3 uz but if I can get a V12 I think I will rather do that.

Nope Naas. I sold my hilux and bought a 80 series cruiser with all the bells and whistles, just need a stronger motor to bring down the consumption a bit. 5.1km/l is not good.

Lol. Nice. How about the v8 turbo diesel. Has anyone looked at that conversion before. Consumption should be good with great torque

mark i wish i could get more of the v12 , i am working on it , the v8 diesel is available but i wont tackle it , and they are very pricey , i would just go for the 3uz at the end of the day , i have ordered 2 more from paul , should have them in the next 3 weeks or so. have an 80 cruiser on its way from zambia so will post the build up - but on the landcruiser club ( getting a bit chipped off with the mentality of some people on the hilux club )

Here are the latest and possibly the last, pics of this truly awesome, one of a kind, vehicle now fully completed with dual snorkels et al. The vehicle was left at Mark for a service yesterday and the owner returned to his farm for the weekend in order to collect it on Monday.

Sadly en route to the farm late last night, the owner who has been a close friend of Mark's for the last 20 years passed away after a horrific accident involving a truck. At the time there were 3 other passengers in the vehicle with him including his sister and his 9year old boy and another close friend of Mark. Only the boy survived but he is still in ICU. Our deepest condolences go out to their families and may they RIP. Strongs to you also Mark as we know how much you are hurting now

You have my sincere condolences Mark. I know what it feels like to loose a friend. It sucks big time.

Please don’t concern yourself with the remarks of one or two bad apples on the forum. You are doing good work! Keep it up!
