On the 2.7 you do not need to T in anywhere to switch the spotlight relay. Toyota kindly provided a positive switching spotlight connection right next to the battery. Male spade terminal to the relay and Bob's your uncle.

Couple of thoughts I pondered over with the Harness kit:
1. I snipped off the thin brass lugs and fitted thicker ones, but this is just my choice and not to indicate that the original ones were too flimsy. We use the thicker type for radio installations so I already had them.
2. When the black plastic 3-pin plug is inserted into the old headlight socket - which is now removed from the bulb - you should tape up the back of this plug. The new connector ends are slightly exposed and one does not want a short-circuit to occur.
3. I would have preferred an ever so slightly longer +ve lead going to the battery +ve, the supplied one makes it but doesn't leave much room for spare. OTOH, I do have a larger battery fitted so this might not be necessary for a standard battery.
4. The 30A fuse as supplied is too strong. I replaced it with a 20A fuse but I think a 15A fuse would be fine too, assuming one is running two 55/60 Halogen bulbs.
These points are not criticising the product which I find excellent, I am simply pointing out my views.
Excellent points:
The supplied wiring between the left and right side is very nicely done, wrapped in the flexitube plastic and the bulb connectors themselves are first class.
The points I have raised above are minor and the only ones I would urge people to look at carefully are item numbers 2 & 4 above.
