:blackeye:

It never rains but it pours..  After 3 very quiet months on the 4x4 training and driving front, all hell broke loose all of a sudden. :blackeye: :blackeye: :blackeye:

Due to all sorts of training sessions and other 4x4 training related activities in the next month I'll have to withdraw from this event, but I leave you in the capable hands of Allan (Hoppy) and Stuart (Stubs).  They'll look after you and make sure you have a fantastic day out in the dunes.

Sorry guys, I was really looking forward to getting sandy for a change..

Daai walletjie by die dam het al heelwat trappe gebuig, gewoonlik moet jy hulle weer plat spring voordat die deure oopmaak

Hey Guys, am only going to know a bit closer to the time whether I will be able to make it on Sunday, have a bit of a family medical crisis to sort out, and not sure until later in the week if I will be able to make it on Sunday. If I do, will be bringing my Dad with for a brand new dune experience for him,... Mmmmm... not sure if it is such a great idea, but will see..

Is everyone sorting their own permits, or are we doing a group-buy?

It would be handy if someone is close to town to get all the permits... I wont be able to get the permits and will only know towards Thursday if I can make it... My Mom is having a hip replacement tomorrow after a bad fall today, and I am looking after my Dad.. Not sure if he will handle the dunes at 86 years old...will see how it goes.

Unfortunately I am not going to be anywhere near town to collect permits. The "year-end close down rush" has hit us hard at this place where I earn my pay.

I have organized a little inter-club competition in the dunes for this event, now three of the people involved can't make it, is it possible to move the date 2 weeks on to 28 October?
